Jonathan White Gospel Free Concert Sunday, February 17 at 6:30 pm.

Jonathan White, a Christian singer appealing to the whole family with a heart for people and known throughout the eastern United States, will be appearing at Sant Alban's Anglican Church, 4920 Cline Hollow Road in Murrysville on Sunday, February 17 at 6:30 pm for a free concert open to the entire community.

Jonathan has sung for many audiences, including the Grand Ole Opry, the Bill Gaither Homecoming Series, and in the Great Smokies National Park in Gatlinburg, TN.  His heart is for singing in the church "down the street," where he has learned it is not about the size of the crowd, but about the ministry to everyone who come to attend.  For Jonathan, it's about reaching others for Christ.

Jonathan has been singing since before he can remember.  He would sing in front of the church with his brothers and sisters when he was very young.  Jonathan's father was a preacher and evangelist, from where his Christian roots have grown.  But Jonathan did not pursue a professional music career until later in life.  It is through trying times that Jonathan has found his mission in life.  In 1991, Jonathan married Sheila and the young couple were immediately thrust into the caretaker role for Jonathan's younger sister and brother after tragedy struck their family.  Jonathan's main goal in ministry is to encourage Christians in their walk with God and to remind them that God turns horrible circumstances around for good.  What we think are burdens may turn out to be great blessings.

So the tremendous burden on his new marriage became a source of caring and compassion for others, and Jonathan's music ministry has blossomed in the Lord's blessing as he works out of his home base near Canton, Ohio.  Sheila and Jonathan have also been blessed with 2 other children, Brittany and Austin.

The concert is a freewill donation event, open to the public.  Come and be encouraged by Jonathan White's music this coming February 17 at 6:30 pm at Saint Alban's Anglican - the church behind the Giant Eagle on Cline Hollow Road.  724-325-2727 for more information.  Jonathan White's website:  http://www.jonathanwhitemusic.com
